America’s Beautiful Miss was started in 1997 by Desiree Russell. The pageant continued until 2002, when Ms. Russell decided to step away. The pageant returned as an online photo contest many years later and after some deliberation has decided to bring it back! While some aspects and elements have changed from the original conception, many things remain the same-quality prizes and a positive experience! 
Desiree Russell, Director/Producer, has been involved in pageantry since 1978. Over the past 40+ years, she has been active as a contestant, mother of a contestant, coach, emcee, judge, and director/producer!
